Alright, so I just found out fairly recent that I've been chosen to go to Miyazaki, Japan this fall for around a year. It will be an interesting experience living over there. I'll be doing a project where I create audio collages from field recordings and then package those with a book of drawings and writings. I'll likely have a lot of interesting things happen over there that I want to blog about and thus I've set up this space at blogspot to contain those writings (and probably photos/drawings too): [link]

Another thing I set up recently more for fun is an account over at Japan's equivalent of Deviant Art called Pixiv. It will be fun trying to do a little translating of my picture's titles over into Japanese. Maybe I'll even try a shot at translating some of my own comics to post up there. I really need to update my Mixi page sometime eventually, seriously it's been almost two years since I've really edited my page there... so I won't post a link to that. Maybe later... I'm seriously really bad with these "social networking" kinds of things sometimes... although I have kept my Twitter page pretty active here: [link] posting some stuff to that via blip.fm as well.

Ok so I'm out for now... All the art I'm doing lately has been things to be incorporated into my video work I'm doing as an intern at Evergreen. I am going to be drawing/painting the cover-art for this year's TESC Student CD project (on which a track by my band Wood Paneling appears). I'll post more on that when I actually get around to doing it.
